M É X I C O   C I T Y
This capital city of 20 million and over a mile above sea level is built on the ruins of Tenochtitlan, the ancient Aztec capital. Reminders of past civilization encompass the city, particularly in the zocalo at the Templo Mayor excavation and at the Anthropological Museum at Chapultepec Park.

Mexico City, called D. F. (Distrito Federal) is the capital seat of government for all of México, in addition to being the largest city in the world. Mexico City is the cultural heart of Mexico, characterized by its historical buildings, exclusive neighborhoods, luxurious hotels, delightful cuisine, entertaiment and statues and ruins of her historic past. Located in the Valley of Mexico, surrounded by mountains and the two snowcapped volcanic peaks, Popocatepel and Iztaccihuatl.

There are dangers around every corner that tousists must be wary to, but each day in the city is also a great unexpected adventure, discovery and definitely a place of lifetime memories and experiences relating to the Mexican culture and people of the region.
